Pretty lake at Rassisse, 5 min drive, offers a restaurant, picnic areas, swimming, canoe and pedalo hire. For the wine connoisseur, the vineyards of Gaillac are approx 30 min drive and wine tasting is highly recommended. Magnificent restored medieval city of Carcassonne is 2 hour drive south. Pretty courtyard shared with helpful English-speaking owner, whose cottage is separate from farmhouse, and any tenants in another nearby cottage which is also available at extra cost sleeping 2.
