Situated in the village of St Cernin-de-l’Herm, short walk for your morning bread and basic supplies. C15th château de Sineuil, famed for its huge chestnut tree, is nearby. Larger shops, restaurants, bike hire, riding and tennis in pretty town of Villefranche, just 5 min drive. Bergerac with its attractive old town centre and wide range of activities 1 hr drive. Both the Lot and Dordogne rivers are within easy reach for canoeing and range of watersports, and for golf enthusiasts there is a course at Belvès 30 min drive. Abundance of superb châteaux in the area, where you may be lucky enough to catch an open air play or concert, or you may prefer to make a fascinating day trip to the prehistoric sites at Les Eyzies or Lascaux II. International airport: Bergerac 62 km.

This village house has an independent annex ( FDE254) linked to it with the owner’s property next door and has lovely open views over fields from its rear terrace. Steep concrete steps lead down to lower garden level, where trees and shrubs surround the terraced area around heated pool 8 x 4 x 1.2-1.8m depth which is partly fenced and also has an alarm. The pool is shared with FDE254. Utility room with games table and washing machine, shared with FDE254 BBQ area.

Spacious sitting/dining room with 3 sofas, satellite TV (some English channels), tiled floor with rug, feature stone fireplace, dining table and 8 chairs, french doors to rear terrace.
