Plouaret, 5 min drive, for local shops. Extensive safe sandy beach at St Efflam 15 min drive. Well-placed to explore the stunning ''granit rose'' coast, beaches, bays, rocky headlands and offshore islands. Excellent seafood restaurants in Trégastel and Perros Guirec, 30 min drive, or cruises out to the seven islands nature reserve. Away from the coast, quiet lanes meander through the wooded valleys dotted with beautiful chapels, churches and the more mysterious prehistoric remains. The Parc Régional d''Armorique for walks with views across the centre of Brittany 40 min drive. Golf at Bégard 10 km. International airport Brest 95 km.

Situated in beautiful rolling countryside the ancient farmstead of Kervegan Bihan is tranquillity itself. Set in 2 acres, these four properties, two detached and two semi-detached, have been carefully renovated to retain their character (some parts are C15th). All 4 properties will have use of shared covered pool (10m x 5 m x 1.25m - 1.75m depth).

Exposed granite walls, beamed ceilings, and huge stone fireplaces combined with simple furnishings create the perfect combination for an enjoyable stay. Each has its own private area of garden with BBQ plus extensive shared grass areas for games, boules pitch and paved basketball plot. Spacious gravel parking area. Cots and highchairs on request for all 4 properties. Shared use of washing machine and tumble dryer (both appliances are coin operated at 2€ each).

The Coach House, detached Cosy sitting room with wood-burner in huge stone fireplace (logs may be purchased locally), satellite TV (UK channels inc BBC and free Sky channels) and DVD player. Fitted kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, dining area. Bed 1: double. Bed 2: 2 singles. Bath/WC. Steep open-tread stairs with stairgate to Bed 3: double and single, low headroom. Saturday arrival in June, July and August, 7 night min stay. Flexible arrival and stay any other dates, 4 night min.
