Charming hilltop village of Montfuron is just behind this house and within 100m of its lovely stone houses. The village is known for its ancient windmill and is well sought after for its tranquillity. This is in the heart of the Lubéron Park, totally peaceful yet within easy reach of Aix en Provence 45 km and the famous Verdon Gorges 80 km. More facilities and shops in Reillane 6 km. The coast and wonderful towns like Avignon are only 1 hour drive away and the area is also lovely for those who enjoy walking and cycling. Golf 10 km in nearby Manosque. International airport: Marseille 75 km.
Spectacular views from this house of uninterrupted landscape to the Lubéron Hills culminating in the Mourre Nègre peak. The 9 x 4.5 x 0.8–2.5m depth pool and surrounds enjoy the views and are a particular feature of this house. The private pool has an added counter current feature and security cover. Outside patio area with built in BBQ and covered terrace. Enclosed grassy garden, steep in parts.
The interior is simple and provides good unpretentious holiday accommodation for families. Tiled floors, exposed beams and white walls give the property a pleasant Provencal feel which is designed to look older than it actually is.
