Laval’s Old Bridge, Grande Rue, castle, towers and ramparts date from the C11th/C16th and can still be enjoyed today, as can the lovely Perrine gardens overlooking the river. This lovely stone pavilion is set in the extensive wooded grounds of the breathtaking Château la Motte Henry. Just 10m from the pavilion is the orangerie, of which our clients have priority use, and which has indoor BBQ and table tennis. Access from here to the fenced lake – boat and fishing rods can be provided. Adjacent to orangerie is the beautiful walled pool garden, accessed by lockable gate or door. Main pool 10 x 4 x 1-2m depth, additional children’s pool 2 x 4 x 0.4m depth, and ornamental fountains, set in magnificent formal and totally enclosed gardens which are all for clients use. Pool shared occasionally with the considerate residents of the main château. Central heating is available at the cost of £125 per week. Outdoor BBQ near pool area.

The house is beautifully and tastefully furnished throughout in a style befitting a house in the 27 acre grounds of a château! Living/dining area with sofa, armchairs, TV, dining furniture for 6. Light and airy kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. From kitchen, door to bathroom with large corner jacuzzi bath/shower/WC. Stairs from dining area to 1st floor with lockable door to fire escape. Bed 1: king-size 4-poster. Bed 2: 2 singles. Bed 3: double. Cot, highchair and babygate on request.
