Three km from the lovely perched village of Bonnieux (made famous by Peter Mayle’s book ‘A Year in Provence’). In the heart of the Luberon Regional Park, one of the most beautiful and tranquil parts of Provence, with lavender fields and vineyards. Ideal for walkers and cyclists. Bonnieux has very good restaurants and shops catering for everyday needs. Nearby are Gordes, Menerbes and Lacoste with its chateau, owned and renovated by the couturier Pierre Cardin. Summer festivals abound in the area. Apt, a 15 minute drive has a huge Saturday market and L’Isle sur la Sorgue, with its pretty waterways and Sunday antiques market is just 30km. The superb city of Avignon with its Papal Palace is 50km. International airports: Marseille 90km / Nimes 105km /Avignon 50km.

Beautifully renovated 19th century Provencal ‘mas’ standing in 2.5 hectares of peaceful wooded grounds, bordered by vineyards. A particular feature is the large private pool 15 x 6 x 1.9-1.1m depth with electric security cover. The pool is available for use all year round and can be heated on prior request (supplement payable). Good selection of outside teak furniture and beautiful covered outdoor dining area with plenty of seating for large groups. Pool towels are supplied. Outdoor heater for cooler evenings and a gas BBQ.

A light and airy interior decorated to a very high standard in relaxing and elegant tones of cream and beige. Good quality and tasteful furniture throughout. Ground floor has a large L shaped sitting/dining room with flagstone floors and plenty of comfortable seating. Flat screen satellite TV/DVD and internet access. Superb modern kitchen equipped for the most discerning cook with central island unit, dishwasher, microwave and a wine fridge. Breakfast area with glass table and chairs. Utility room with washer and dryer. Bed 1: 2 singles with ensuite shower/WC and doors to garden. Bed 2: double with ensuite shower and sep WC and doors to garden. Stone staircase to first floor.
