Pretty village of Belgentier 2 km is in the heart of the Var region with beautiful wooded hillsides and vine clad valleys. The river Gapeau runs through this lovely village with its coloured facades and narrow streets. There are shops catering for basic needs and several cafés and restaurants. The hillsides here are planted with oaks and pines and fields are filled with olive, fig and cherry trees.20 km from the beach at le Pradet and 25km from the lovely resort of Hyères and the Gien peninsula nature reserve. From there, why not take a boat trip out to the islands of Port Cros and Porquerolles or visit the jet set resort of St Tropez. Paul Ricard motor racing and karting circuit at Castellet 25km.
