Accommodation overview: Dougals Den sits in a quiet backwater of Windermere, just off the centre of this now rather cosmopolitan town which has been recently pedestrianised to create uniquely paved walkways lined with interesting shops, cafes and bars dotted with discreet lighting, the streets quite a spectacular site in the evenings.
