The quiet lanes and paths in the locality make it an ideal area for walking and cycling. The village itself offers a complex of interesting shops at the Maltings, three pubs a good village store, a post office and a fine church. Valley Farm is situated on the outskirts of the village and the Barn is a detached, thatched building which used to form an integral part of the farm when it was working.
