Beatrix Potter loved this part of Lakeland, the sheer beauty and tranquility that so greatly inspired her remains unchanged to this day. High Cunsey nestles on the shores of Lake Windermere, the farmhouse and cottage sharing their own rather special piece of Lake frontage and shoreline. A variety of walks can be enjoyed from the door, a mile or so to the nearest watering hole, with Grizedale Forest and the Go Ape experience only a short distance from Cunsey, by foot, bike or car.
