Take a walk around the beautiful lakes in the early morning or late evening and enjoy the abundance of wildlife right on your doorstep. Owls, Kestrels, Buzzards and the resident Kingfishers are all regular visitors to the lakes and you may also catch sight of wonderful Red Deer. Being at the gateway to Exmoor National Park there is always so much to discover, whether walking, cycling or horse riding the stunning landscape with deep wooded valleys and pretty coastal villages is not to be missed. For fabulous days out the spectacular North Devon Coastline is within easy reach and the stunning golden sands of Saunton, Croyde and Woolacombe are perfect for lazy days on the beach or surfing the waves. All of the cottages are on one level with easy access, provide excellent facilities and enjoy private patios overlooking the beautiful countryside. Great for all ages to enjoy, a communal games room offers a pool table, table tennis, board games and dart board. A separate room with full size snooker table will keep the adults happy for hours! Day tickets for fishing can be purchased on site together with a good selection of fishing tackle and bait. Fishing tackle hire is also available. Stags is a stylish and comfortable cottage with spacious kitchen and dining, area perfect to rustle up a special family meal and relax after a busy day exploring this lovely area. Three bedrooms are all attractively presented and served by a modern bathroom and separate cloakroom. The sunny rear patio is great for barbecues or evening glass of wine.
