Accommodation overview: Sunnyhill is an 18th century detached cottage in the delightful village of Brigsteer and has all the ingredients for a super holiday within the National Park. Extensive views can be enjoyed from most rooms, (even from the kitchen sink!) out over the Lyth Valley and the Langdales in the distance. There are a large number of traditional country inns serving excellent ales and bar meals only a short drive away. Improved in recent times without any loss of character, Sunnyhill is a lovely home with feature beams throughout and a super wood burning stove to welcome you at the end of the day. Careful thought has been given to provide furnishings and linens to continue the cottage theme throughout and to accommodate the original features of this old house; the floors gently sloping in places and some areas where you should bend or bump.

Situated at Nenthead in the North Pennine Hills, 4 miles from Alston, this 17th century detached cottage is full of original features including, beams and open fire. Alston is the highest market town in England, with steep cobbled streets and an interesting variety of shops and galleries. This is a panoramic landscape of fells, moors, ravines, valleys, mountains,rivers and waterfalls ( the highest waterfall in England is High Force approximately 10 miles away). Crisscrossed with bridleways, ancient tracks, Englands highest footpath, the Pennine Way and the C2C cycle route, the area is ideal for walking, cycling, pot holing and pony trekking.

Accommodation overview: Primrose Cottage is a very spacious 3 bedroom detached houses, newly built by the owners in 2004 and are equipped with every modern day convenience. It is beautifully furnished throughout and enjoy views from most windows. Situated in the heart of Pooley Bridge which lies on the northern shores of Ullswater. The village has shops, pubs, a cafe a restaurant, all of which are on the doorstep. The Ullswater Steamers operate out of Pooley Bridge with regular sailings around the lake all year. The scenery in this area is spectacular with lots of walking opportunities around the lake and on the surrounding fells. Places of interests nearby include Rheged Visitor Centre, Dalemain House and Gardens, Aira Force and the Alpaca Centre. Center Parcs is a 20 minute drive. The nearest town in Penrith, 10 minutes drive with the popular tourist town of Keswick just 20 minute drive.
