Situated in a quiet countryside location yet close to the Broads and the sandy beaches of Sea Palling and Eccles. The market towns of Aylsham and North Walsham are close by. A great location for a holiday and exploring. Swanton Abbott is a quiet village in an ideal position from which to discover the many delights of Norfolk. The capital of The Broads is only five miles away at Wroxham and you may like to hire a boat to view the miles of waterways. The North Norfolk Heritage Coast and the sandy beaches of Cromer, Mundesley and Holkham are also only a short drive away, as is the fine city of Norwich. There is a pub in the village and further amenities and supermarkets available in the market towns of Aylsham and North Walsham, four miles away.
Lilac Lodge is a recently converted lodge which has been built with character and is beautifully furnished. All on one level, the Lodge is ideal for a couple with its attractive courtyard for sitting out and enjoying a glass of wine or morning cup of coffee. The Lodge is situated in a very peaceful part of the village, the location is ideal and very central for exploring many parts of the surrounding area and attractions.
