Accommodation
Haycote Cottage is a delightful stone built property in the heart of working farmland, a short distance from Coniston Water, Coniston village and Grizedale Forest. Lowick is a traditional village and still hosts the annual Lowick show, an excellent display of local craft and produce, the surrounding area farmed by local families throughout the ages. There are an abundance of gentle walks from the door at Haycote Cottage, and numerous villages can be reached within minutes drive, Coniston and Broughton just two. The nearby pub serves local ales and great food. The styling throughout Haycote Cottage is superb, of excellent quality and reminiscent of a boutique hotel - not quite what you would expect from a traditional Lakeland cottage but the combination works brilliantly. Perfect for those wishing to be a little off the beaten track, this is a romantic hideaway for two with that all important traditional pub within easy walking distance.
