There is a gentle pace of life in Sligo and this is a place to relax and unwind. There is a rich variety of scenery and numerous historic sites in Sligo from the lofty heights of Benbulben to the lush grounds at Parke's Castle. There are plenty of festivals held in Sligo with the 10 day Arts festival in late May and the South Sligo Music School - a festival of music and dance in July. Located just under 1 hour from Knock Arirport and a convenient base for touring the Northwest. Shop. Pub. Restaurant 1½ miles. Beach 28 miles.
