The Old Forge Cottage is located in the harbour village of Cleggan just 1.5 hours from Galway City. The cottageis best suited to older children 8+ who will enjoy the gallery room on the first floor with TV and sofa. A gentle stroll leads you to the 4 pubs and 2 restaurants or to the pier where you can catch the ferry to Inisboffin. Experience deep sea angling, lake fishing, boat trips to Inishturk and Inisbofin, pony treking, pitch & putt, dive sites, beaches and more beaches. In the evenings enjoy the "craic" and the freshest of seafood in one of the local pubs. On a clear day take a walk to Cleggan head and you can nearly see Croach Patrick. Clifden Shop 500 yards. Pub. Restaurant 200 yards. Beach 880 yards. GF: lounge/kitchen/diner, 2 doubles, shower room. FF: double, gallery.
