The region is a Gaeltacht area where Irish is spoken and home to one of the largest blanket bogs in Europe. North Mayo is a hidden treasure trove of historic sites with the Ceide fields, stone circles, Downpatrick Head. Shop 1¼ miles. Pub 1 mile. Restaurant. Beach 6 miles.
