You could take the small car ferry over the Shannon to County Clare to visit the Cliffs of Moher, Bunratty Castle and Ailwee Caves, to name just a few of the sights. Or why not simply stroll along the cliffs and enjoy the sight of the glorious stretches of sand. Shop. Pub. Restaurant 2½ miles. Sandy Beach 2½ miles.
